Rosenberger Group: A strong start to 2026 for Hungarian – German industrial cooperation

Hungary begins 2026 with another significant milestone in foreign investment: Rosenberger Group has become the country’s 102nd strategic partner,  CEO István Joó of HIPA (Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency) shared on LinkedIn.

The German high‑tech manufacturer has been present in Hungary for more than 20 years and now employs over 5,000 people across its sites in Jászárokszállás, Jászberény, Nyírbátor, and Taksony. This long-term presence reflects the stability and competitiveness of Hungary’s industrial environment.

Rosenberger is now launching a EUR 25 million development to expand capacity and introduce semi‑automated production lines for advanced data cables and e‑mobility connectors—technologies that support the rapid transformation of the automotive and electronics sectors.

This partnership is another clear sign that Hungary continues to be a reliable location for high‑value manufacturing and long-term industrial cooperation. Strategic investments like Rosenberger’s strengthen regional ecosystems, create skilled jobs, and reinforce Hungary’s position as a key European hub for future‑oriented technologies.
